Three generations of our family have used Pancake makeup. We range from ages 82 to 22! People often compliment us on how great our skin looks wearing Pancake Tan #1. A friend recently bought me her expensive makeup to try because we heard P&G might quit manufacturing Pancake in the US. It was also applied with a sponge. At first I thought that it was pretty close to Pancake, but an hour later it was all caked up on the sides of my nose and looked terrible. People associate Pancake with the high school play and dismiss it as an everyday makeup, but it's all in the application which is so easy. My daughter has tried all the latest including mineral powders, but keeps coming back to Pancake, as do we all! Try it, you'll like it.!

Use this product everyday and have for years. I have oily skin and this works great to control the oily areas. Easy to use just difficult to find in local stores. Thanks to Drugstore.com I can get it anytime.

I have used this pancake for years. I have oily skin that does not interact well with most liquid foundations, and I find that because this is dry until you add water and there are no oils within the foundation itself. I also like that it is easy to blend two colors, especially as you become more tan in the summer then slowly become more fair in the winter. I generally keep two colors for this purpose. I also enjoy the flexibility - I can either use just a light coating to just smooth out skin tone or use a little extra by just adding more water to cover up problem areas or for the evening.

i wet the sponge w/water then wet w/a little liquid make-up and then rub that sponge on the dry makeup & apply. i am fair but don't have great skin, this gives me great coverage & makes my skin look very smooth. i love it, but not everyone carries it anymore. i panicked when everyone in my area diccontinued it. i took a chance & found it online at drugstore. com. Regular make-up doesn't give me the coverage i need. luv-u drugstore & love u max !!!!!

I've used this product for years. It is lightweight, non greasy,great coverage. I use a moistened sponge and can apply exactly the coverage I need. Unfortunately Max Factor products will be discontinued in the USA in early 2010. So buy this while you can. I'm hoping maybe it will still be available online, but I have not been able to confirm it.

I use this product daily and only need to apply it once. It keeps my skin looking fresh all day. I love the ability to put it on thinly with a moistened Max Factor's natural make up sponge. You control how much or little you need. It has never clogged my pores, or looked cakey. I highly recommend this product over all the others I have tried that cost a great deal more.

I have used this product for 30 yrs and love it, will not use anything else, hope they never stop making it

I 've used M.F. pancake since high school days. I'm now 70 years old and, with a few wrinkles, but when I put this on each morning it evens out the skin tone and I feel 20 years younger!! It contains Lanolin to which I attribute my skin's good condition.

I tried this product when i was going out.its hard to apply.you have to really wet the sponge.it doesnt cover like the reviews said.i have brown spots left over from pregnancy and sun damage.i have little imperfections under my eyes.this makes it more noticeble.if you have a clean canvas i recommend it.if your face its not smooth.dont get it.
